
We are still working on it and hope the M1 support would be added from 2022.1 XB3 or XB4 if everything goes well cheers. Sometimes other harmless things would cause a crash, like pressing Space, orbiting the view, or undoing things.

Apple recently announced the M1 chip, the first in-house chip designed specifically for Mac (November 2020).Generally though, I like working in Maya on the M1. when will a bugfix version be released? Making Maya more stable would be a huge benefit. New macOS systems with the M1-chip are designed to work with macOS Big Sur 11.0 operating system.

When will a native ARM64 (M1) version be released? It has been a year since the devkits are available, so maybe Autodesk has at least an estimate of an ETA? I am mainly hoping for some rendering speedups, because interaction speed is actually pretty good, even through Rosetta.Currently, we're working closely with Apple to optimize Autodesk software to work with Apple silicon.
